What an evening! No swim next week (Thurs 9th June)

The most successful evening in terms of numbers and enjoyment was had by all at yesterday’s open water swim at Callow Lake:

A special thanks to Patricia and Orla who did such a great job with the beginners group and we hope that you had a great time and will come again.

And a massive thanks to Brendan and the kayakers making sure everyone was safe.

NOTE: THERE IS NO SWIMMING NEXT THURSDAY (9TH JUNE) – NEXT SWIM IS THURSDAY 16TH JUNE 7.30PM FOR 8PM IN WATER

  • A few things to note if you want to take part in the swims:

    1. You must be a member of Triathlon Ireland.
    (You will need your Triathlon licence for sign on)

    2. The Swimming is free to and confined to:
    SWINFORD TRIATHLON CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.

    3. To become a Member of SwinfordTriathlon Club- Pay €20 on the night.

    Everyone is very welcome to the swims in the lake and anyone can become a member of SwinfordTriathlonClub.

    You can become a member by completing THIS FORM & bringing with you at swim session (opens in new window).

    Below is map for where Callow Lake is; NOTE: The meeting point is NOT at the junction of the two lakes but is further down towards Foxford – you can’t miss us; lots of wet suit clad folk making their way across the field.

    ps Those new to open water swimming are welcome – you will however still need a reasonable level of swimming prowess
